NirUVis- the new frequency mixing unit
01/11/2012

NirUVis is an add-on frequency mixer for TOPAS-Prime series devices.  A single enclosed unit offers an easy access to wavelengths from 189nm to 1160nm. NirUVis consists of three computer controlled nonlinear crystal stages combined with wavelength separators in a monolithic housing. Output is generated by employing a combination of second and fourth harmonic generation as well as sum frequency generation. In comparison with separately standing crystal stages, NirUVis offers higher conversion efficiency in certain wavelength ranges, ease of operation, compact design, and low environmental sensitivity. In addition, wavelength separation is added after each nonlinear interaction ensuring higher output pulse contrast. NirUVis can be positioned both after and sideways of TOPAS-Prime device and is easy compatible with NDFG units.

Visit us at Photonics West 2012
01/03/2012
As every year Light Conversion will be exhibiting at Photonics West 2012 together with our North American distributor Altos Photonics. This time we are proud to present live and fully functional setup of femtosecond PHAROS laser pumping ORPHEUS OPA - our flagship setup for ultrafast spectroscopic applications. During dedicated hours we will be opening covers of our lasers letting you glimpse into secrets of femtosecond pulse generation. Visit us for that even on Jan 24 1pm, Jan 25 4pm and Jan 26 1pm. In our extended booth we will also be presenting new generation industrial femtosecond laser Carbide.

Visit us at booth 1031, South Hall, 21 - 26 January 2012, The Moscone Center, San Francisco, California, USA

“ORPHEUS-N” – high repetition rate non-collinear optical parametric amplifier
12/05/2011
“ORPHEUS-N” series of non-collinear optical parametric amplifiers has been designed to provide sub-30 fs pulses at highest available repetition rates. The new design follows in the example of the scientific community well established “TOPAS-White” system, employing a negative dispersion pulse shaper in the white-light continuum path. The output pulses are compressed to sub-25fs pulse lengths by a pair of fused silica wedges, instead of using a prism-based compressor setup. Together with the continuing development of our PHAROS laser system, we can now offer multiple “ORPHEUS-N” devices pumped by the same laser operating at 1 MHz repetition rate. This combination of short pulses and high repetition rate is unmatched in performance commercially, in addition to being easy to use by the help of computer controlled wavelength tuning and automatic pulse compression.

New Mid-IR option for SHBC-TOPAS-400-WL
11/18/2011

Wavelength tuning range for SHBC-TOPAS-400-WL devices has been expanded to Mid-IR. Now, collinear difference frequency generation options grants access to wavelengths from 2.4um to 10um. Two options are available: DFG1 - bridging the gap between 2.4-5um and DFG2 for generating 4.7-10um radiation. Difference Frequency Generator consists of an automated rotation stage and nonlinear crystals. The Generator can be mounted at the output of TOPAS-400 and controlled via WinTOPAS software.
